Embracing Strength and Support During Pink October

How Breast Cancer Awareness Month Reflects Our Mission at Tracey G Prosthetics and Lingerie

Every October, the world turns pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time dedicated to increasing awareness, supporting those affected, and highlighting the importance of early detection and care. At Tracey G Prosthetics and Lingerie, this month is especially meaningful. It’s not only about awareness—it’s about action, empathy, and empowerment.

More Than Just a Month

Pink October is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of those who have faced a breast cancer diagnosis. For many women, the journey doesn't end with treatment. It continues through recovery—physically, emotionally, and psychologically. That’s where we come in.

At Tracey G, we specialise in post-mastectomy care, offering professional fittings for breast prosthesis, mastectomy bras, swimwear, and beautiful, supportive lingerie tailored for every stage of the journey.

What We Offer—and Why It Matters

We understand that every woman’s experience with breast cancer is unique. That’s why we offer:

  • Queenslands largest range of breast prosthesis to restore symmetry and confidence

  • Soft, supportive mastectomy bras designed for comfort and femininity

  • Lingerie and swimwear options that celebrate your body and your choices

  • Private, compassionate fitting services in a welcoming, discreet environment by trained fitters

Our team is trained not just in fittings—but in care. We’re here to listen, support, and guide every woman with understanding and dignity.

More Than a Product—A Purpose

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, many businesses "go pink"—but at Tracey G, supporting breast cancer survivors isn't just seasonal. It’s at the core of everything we do, year-round...over the years we've help over 15,000 women look beautiful in their own clothes again.

From the moment someone walks through our door, our goal is to help them feel whole, empowered, and beautiful again—because healing is about more than medicine. It's also about identity, confidence, and connection.

How You Can Get Involved This October

There are many ways to support the cause during Pink October:

  • Book a fitting for yourself or a loved one—take that step toward feeling confident and comfortable again

  • Share your story to raise awareness and inspire others

  • Support local or national breast cancer charities

  • Wear pink to show solidarity with those affected

Most importantly, remember that behind every ribbon is a person, a family, and a story.

A Final Word

This October, as we honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we invite you to join us in celebrating the strength, resilience, and beauty of every woman affected by breast cancer. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, a long-time survivor, or supporting someone you love—Tracey G Prosthetics and Lingerie is here for you.

With care, compassion, and a commitment to your comfort and confidence—this is more than our job. It’s our purpose.

Once again this year there will be special offers throughout the month so keep and eye out for those.
